The Conflicted Womanist (TCW) is a digital library, and political study project started in November 2020. We center the study of decolonization at the register of Black international feminism, and womanist literature.

We, working-class, Black, gender-expansive, and disabled, cultural workers, researchers, and independent scholars attend to these texts as guides, warnings, sites of critique, and strategy-building to disrupt the flow of death-making systems such as neoliberalism, (western Christian) imperialism, colonial patriarchy, and global antiBlackness.

Through TCW, we engage our literary canon(s) and revolutionary archives to spiritually and politically facilitate informed and collective grassroots organizing.

By subscribing to this newsletter, you’ll receive regular writings and reflections, in this area, straight to your inbox.

Thank you for being here, and I'm looking forward to what's in store.
