I have so so much to say on this issue but I will keep it brief lol. I think I will struggle to put my wide range of thoughts into a few sentences for a thoughtful comment. First I will say that it is very demeaning to come to social media and "shame" others for what you may disagree with. There's the part where the "jean skirts" are unfairly dragging women who are simple being themselves and expressing themselves. I believe they feel like they are "better". Or maybe, just maybe they think they are doing the "right" thing by "condemning" Chloe. I put a lot of things in quotes in order for others to realize that there could be different definitions. I think there needs to more conversation on how to disagree with things as a Christian, without shaming people. I will stop there for now..

Have all the space you need to share! This was an insightful comment. Definitions do play a large role in being able to understand more of these difficult circumstances. However, could it also be that solely focusing on definitions is what causes legalistic actions to happen? We need spaces where people, especially Black women, are not shamed for exercising their choices.
